“Welcome Home.”

A home is more than just a place. It’s a comfort that gives us assurance, that we are loved and safe. Being at home is being with God. Being at home is being with His presence. To have experienced the fullness of being at home, is going to heaven with Him. But, there is also a “home” here on earth, which God designed Himself.

How wonderful it is to be finally at home? How beautiful it is to be sleeping with no worries because you are at home? How big could that smile be when you wake up the next morning knowing you are at home? Opening your eyes, then seeing your “home.” Loving God and then loving your “home.” Being with the person you love is one of the greatest and most beautiful plans that God had prepared for everyone. And I believe that it is our “home” here on earth, being with our loved ones.

To be with the person you love, is to feel secured. No one could ever harm you as long as you have him. That there will always be someone who will defend you, who will fight for you. And he is God’s instrument to make you feel, you are secured. To be with the person you love, is to be brave. It’s like, you can do all things as long as you’re with him. That you can face all your fears as long as you know he’s right there cheering for you. That even if it looks scary, you will still go for it because you know at the end of the line, he is there ready to hug you. That even if you fail and stumble, you know that he will run to hold your hand and help you stand. And he is God’s instrument to make you know, you are brave.

To be with the person you love, is to be happy. But more than being happy because of this person, you are happy because it is God who gave you the happiness. It is God who put that joy in your heart. It is God who is in the center. That is why no matter what awaits for the both you, may it be good or bad, the happiness will never be loss. Because God is happiness, and happiness is God. And he is just God’s instrument to make you happy. God is still your source of happiness and joy.

But remember this, to be with the person you love, is to love God first. To know love, is to know God, for He is the author of it. You can never be the best for someone unless you are loving God the best way you can. You can never love God if you’re not at home with Him. Come to love and serve Him, come Home to God. I am at the season of loving God above everything else. God is molding and preparing me to be someone’s “home.” And I know that God is also making this man to be the best “home” for me.

I am getting ready to finally say to my love, “WELCOME HOME.”
