Romans 5:1-8

V8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

God answered me today from my question these past days, "until when will you fight for the people who seems that they doesn't want to be fought for?"

God answered me through a song entitled Love like this by Lauren Daigle.

The lyrics spoke straight to my heart:

"What have I done to deserve love like this?

What have I done to deserve love like this?

I can not earn what you so freely give?

What have I done to deserve love like this?"

Those words kept on echoing in my ears, that all through out the day I listened to the song. Then God showed me one thing: I didn't do anything and yet He loved me and fought for me. So how can I not continue to love and fight for the people whom God entrusted me with? That's why I realized na kung ako nga pinili at minahal ni Lord, yung iba pa kaya? God's love chooses no one, instead, He accepts everyone.

Then earlier tonight, I watched a preaching in facebook from a pastor, with the caption: "One-sided love, masakit ba?" The pastor emphasized na mahal tayo ni Lord sa kabila ng lahat ng ating mga "kahit na." Mahal Niya tayo kahit na hindi natin Siya mahal, kahit na makasalanan tayo. He also said that when it comes to loving other people truly it is not about "what is in it for us." Hindi tayo nagke care sa iba para mag care din sila sa atin. Hindi tayo nagmamahal ng ibang tao para mahalin din tayo pabalik. We show care and love to other people just for the reason na mahal natin sila, lahat ng ginagawa natin for them are out of the love we have for them. At kapag hindi tayo minahal pabalik ay titigil na tayong magmahal? NO. We love even more, because that's the kind of love we received from Jesus.

Sa ministry darating ang punto na mapapatanong ka nalang talaga, hanggang kailan ka magmamahal kahit hindi ka na minamahal pabalik? Ang sagot ay: Magmahal ka hangga't buhay si Lord kasi Siya ang source ng pag-ibig. He will never run out of love.
